just not enough time.  We have thirteen boarding horses in our barn and I spend most of days fixing, cleaning, and maintaining the barn and equipment.  We have over 30 acres of hay ground that is all small-square baled so between putting up hay, killing weeds, and mowing grass, we keep pretty busy out here during the summer.
The barn has ten box stalls, two grooming stalls, a wash bay, rest room, tack room with laundry, a shop and hay storage area.  There is an 80’ x 160’ outdoor riding arena for those nice days or a 60’ x 120’ indoor riding arena when it’s more comfortable to be inside.  Paddocks off the barn are separated into three large areas and there are two pasture areas which we rotate the horses in and out of during the summer and fall.  Our property does have some very nice riding trails through trees and a creek with access to other land we can ride.  Give me a call for a quick tour.

We are Valley Springs Farms located a couple of miles south of Valley Springs, SD and about 10 miles from the east side of Sioux Falls.  We serve the Southeast South Dakota, Southwest Minnesota, and Northwest Iowa area.
Our farm was established in 2000 at which time a new barn and home was built on 75 acres of rolling farm ground.  Our facility may be fairly new but we are not new to riding and caring for horses.  We love being around animals and caring for them.  Providing the best care for your horse that we know how is our primary objective.
We currently own two naturally-gaited Tennessee Walking horses which were both born and raised on our farm.  A German Shorthair dog and three barn cats round out the show.  We enjoy trail riding in the Black Hills of South Dakota and the many other trails in our area.

We have shown our Walking horses in past years but have more or less moved away from that scene.  Not that we don’t enjoy it,
